There is a 4:1 balun at the feed point enabling it to be fed directly with 50 ohm coax feed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe power rating is for intermittent amateur (400W CW, 500W PEP (SSB), 100W Data Modes) use and not for AM broadcast or constant carrier data modes.  For AM broadcast a much higher power BALUN is required.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eConfigured as a delta loop or equilateral triangle, if laid flat will be good for near DX. If vertical, will provide low angle radiation which is good for long range DX in the direction of the loop (looking straight on at the front) and near DX off the sides. Gain 3.2dBd.  If laid horizontally will be good for NVIS (Near Vertical Incidence Skywave), if vertical 2.8dBd gain.
