Baofeng have introduced a new seamless wireless programming experience for some of their latest model radios.   If you have on of the latest Bluetooth-enabled models Baofeng have designed a solution to bring effortless smartphone programming to your fingertips.

Baofeng Bluetooth Models

Several of our latest models feature integrated Bluetooth technology for direct wireless programming:

• UV-5R Mini
• UV-32 Analog (not the DM32UV DMR/Analog model)

These new models feature Bluetooth and offer this new method of programming your radio.  They can also be programmed using the standard Baofeng 2-Pin Programming Cable.

Step-by-Step Programming Guide

Step 1: Prepare Your Baofeng Radio.  Power on your Baofeng device and navigate to: Menu → Wireless CPS → Set to "ON" → Your radio is now in pairing mode and ready for wireless connection.

Step 2: Download the Ola AppInstall "Baofeng Ola" from the official Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 3: Establish Secure Connection. Open the Ola app and tap the connection icon. Select your Baofeng model from the discovered devices list (e.g., "5R Mini").

Step 4: Sync and Configure. Tap "Read from Radio" to import your current settings. Use the intuitive interface to program frequencies, CTCSS/DCS tones, channel names, and scanning lists.

Step 5: Write and VerifyTap "Write to Radio" to upload your configuration.
