This Diamond SP1000PW surge arrester works for frequencies from 0 to 1000 MHz and for a maximum transmission power of 400Watts, it is equipped with a UHF-Female connector (SO-239) and offers a low insertion loss of -0.2 dB .
This equipment provides protection for the radio equipment in the event of a nearby lightning strike , but not in the event of a direct lightning strike on the antenna, in this case it is necessary to install a lightning rod above the level of the outdoor antenna to divert lightning away from your antenna.
The SP-1000PW must be grounded , by the shortest route, for safe operation. A stainless screw (M4) is available to connect a cable to earth.
