We Love Customer Feedback: Remarkable! I used the Ampro 40 today for the 1st time. I was not expecting miracles but miracles is what I got! First I put it on my car roof with a NanoVna and easily tuned it to suit the POTA frequency of 7.090 at 1.4:1 SWR by lowering the metal whip section. I drove up to my local POTA park and did an activation from the comfort of the car. I made heaps of strong contacts all over NZ with mostly 58-59 signal reports, and also from France, Aus and Tasmania. I then went up the band and made a contact with California (signal report of 55 received). I was surprised that the SWR stayed below 2:1 across the whole SSB portion of the band . The best part of a product like this is that within a few minutes I can drive away from all the urban noise that affects my rig at home and use my radio without the headache of all the manmade interference. I look forward to using it again as soon as possible!

Caution With Magnet Mount Use
When using an Ampro antenna with a magnetic mount base your vehicle must be stationary and the antenna removed when driving. Attempting to lift or remove the magnet mount by pulling on the attached antenna can cause serious damage to the mount and/or antenna or reduce its lifespan. Always detach the antenna and lift the magnetic mount directly from its base to avoid damaging the antenna. Once the antenna is removed, then remove the magnetic base.
