The QJE PS30SWIV desktop communications switchmode power supply is a slim and compact power supply converting 230V AC to 13.8V DC (also variable between 9V and 15V) and has special features such as high efficiency, reliability and light weight design. 

These brilliant power supplies are designed to keep radiated noise incredibly low, through advanced filtering and the ability to change the switchmode frequency in the unlikely event that you hear a slight noise from the power supply on HF bands.  With a metal case and true mains grounded case helping to keep noise contained - unlike cheaper power supplies with plastic cases, minimal radiation shielding and poor noise grounding.  All these features make this model the perfect power choice for HAM, CB and professional radio installations ... check out the reviews below!

Operational Precautions:

  • Be careful to connect your devices with the right positive and negative polarity before switching on the power supply.
  • Place the power supply in a dry and ventilated area.
  • Never cover the unit while it is working. Even though it is designed for high efficiency, the unit can still get hot and damage may occur.
  • Do not intentionally short the power supply output.
  • If a short circuit occurs on the output, the power supply will be protected by the short circuit protection function. Turn the unit off and fix the cause of the short circuit immediately before turning it back on.
  • Do not use with equipment that requires a large current inrush at the beginning, such as electric motors or any high current equipment.
  • Do not use this unit to charge batteries.
  • Should the mains fuse blow, make sure that the device is unplugged from the mains supply before replacing the fuse and only replace the fuse with the specified current and fuse type. 
  • Make sure the power supply is always properly grounded with the supplied 3-pin IEC power cable to prevent electric shock and reduce noise.
  • Never disassemble, modify or touch any internal components as this will expose you to the live electrical supply and/or stored voltages in components. If dismantled, harm from an electric shock may occur and/or damage the power supply and will also void the warranty.
