This is a great, low cost, way of getting on HF with this vertical. No radials or complicated setup.
For use over 80-10m the antenna with acceptable SWR on some bands without a tuner **, however we recommend an antenna tuner for a perfect SWR across all bands.

** Please Note: SWR readings were made with antenna on a metal tripod with the antenna mounted 1 metre above the ground. Additional grounding, metal roof mounting, extra ground plane radials below and longer lengths of coaxial feed cable will very likely improve SWR on 80 metres.
